Kathisma<\/strong> beach is a long sandy beach<\/strong> in western Lefkada at a distance 15 km away<\/strong> the city. Access is quite easy. The road leading to the beach is winding and at the end of it there is a fairly large parking. Kathisma beach is a fully organized beach and bars there have made it a pole of attraction for young people who are on vacation to the island and in general for those who like loud music and lot of people. The surprise at Kathisma lies<\/strong> in the fact that paragliding<\/strong> fans can enjoy incredible views flying over the beach and turquoise waters. The beach is surrounded by impressive cliffs. Exanthia<\/strong> is an old and quiet village<\/strong> located in the mountain slopes of Lefkada at an altitude of 630m.<\/strong> The village crosses one of the main roads of the island that connects the city of Lefkada with Vasiliki via Asprogerakata and Drymonas. The beautiful village of Kalamitsi<\/strong> is one of the oldest settlements<\/strong> on the island, built on the slope of the Rachi mountain range and south of Agios Nikitas, a place that was not visible from the sea, so as to avoid pirate invasions. It is located 23 km southeast<\/strong> away of Lefkada city. In Kalamitsi you can admire 13 windmills<\/strong> that stand there and remind the agricultural past of the area<\/strong> in the production of grain, but also its beautiful view. Kalamitsi is famous for its textiles. And below, after the pine-covered slope, famous beaches succeeding one another. On the right part of the coast is Kathisma, while the beach in Kalamitsi is organized in some parts, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Agios Nikitas<\/strong> is located on the northwest side of the island , at a distance\u00a0 about 12 km<\/strong> away of Lefkada city. It is a relatively small village, with a fairly traditional style. The spotless beaches from Lagada to the village, the fresh fish and the traditional Lefkada hospitality, will transport you to a different way of life and will fascinate you. At the west of the settlement there is the pristine sandy beach of Mylos that will enchant even the most demanding visitor.
